I think we're finally getting to that place of "this is life now". It was a rough day today, again, as I see many parents are faced with lately. We all just kind of need a bit of time to miss each other, I think, and just a little change of scenery.

I had a Mother's Day gift dropped off for me today, and it didn't even come from one of my own children! A hydro mask was one of the many things stuck in there. After a day like today, I needed something to make me feel better. I slapped on the mask and put my feet up. Leah walked in on this and after staring at me, quite disturbed, for a minute she asked me what I had done to my face, then demanded I go to my bathroom and wash it off. It does look a bit Hannibal Lecter-ish.
