Don't pretend like you didn't think that in 2020 as well (I can't say 2020 too, without thinking 2022...yes, follow my story for more random thoughts).

On 26 March 2020 it was announced that South Africa would be going into hard lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I documented every day, right here on this page, then forwarded it to Facebook.

​

Now, I'm unemployed and wondering: would you please buy a copy of my lockdown memoirs? There are some funny stories in there. 

​

All you have to do is visit Amazon, because I have yet to make the revenue needed to create an online store and have my book printed. It's a work in progress, I'd like you to be part of that work in progress.

In all seriousness though, this page was created as a place for me to document my family's time during lockdown. I hope that, along with some of the memories, stories that you may relate to and maybe even moments where you count your blessings that you're not me, you'll enjoy my ode to hard lockdown in South Africa.
