Hello

Good day kind people who have willingly, or not so much, taken the time to peruse my web page. I am Nicole Mohamed (not born Mohamed...oviasly) and I'm born and raised in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.But, not like rural Eastern Cape, like semi-urban Eastern Cape, we have tarred roads, which the cattle assure me files their hooves nicely.

So how's about this Aunty

I'm going to be quite honest, I used to hate this exercise at school, or any other sort of place where they ask you to tell everyone about yourself. I think the fact that I lay it all out for you all in an 84 page book will suffice.

But, if you're wondering where I was born and raised, here goes: I was born in Port Elizabeth (or Gqeberha) and raised in Uitenhage (Kariega), with a quick hiatus in Cape Town when I was younger, just as a way of showing me that there's more to life than marrying a man who works at Volkswagen...I married a man who works in a different automotive company. So rebellious.

I was schooled at the handful of English schools available in our little town, matriculated in 2005, when zombie bracelets and spaghetti straps were still cool, then went on to study Media, Communications and Culture at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, now Nelson Mandela University. I was there for the first name change, before name changing was cool.

I married my high school sweetheart, or rather: undercover old man, and went on to create three mini humans with him...I mean!

I have worked here, there and everywhere, but kind of don't fare well in the employment world it seems, because I tend to end up unemployed more often than other people I know. Either way, I find myself getting old now and wanting to "suck out the marrow of life", and I'm not going to accomplish that behind an office desk.

So, here we go. Lockdown Cubed, my little project from lockdown that I hope will be of some entertainment to you.
